ITESM, Campus Laguna is looking for teachers for the fall semester, 2008 to teach Physics and Chemistry in English in the bicultural high school classes.
This TEC campus is located in Torreon, Coahuila Mexico in the north-central part of the country. Torreon is a medium-sized city with just over a million inhabitants and offers all the comforts to be found in any city of this size.
The campus itself, is fully-equipped with appropriate technology and continually offers in-service courses to assist teachers to effectively use this technology in the classroom as well as developing other skills related to the teaching profession.
Qualifications: The successful applicant will have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Chemistry or Physics. They should be a native-speaker of English. Due to the nature of the classes we are also looking for someone who has
some research-related experience.
It is neccesary to be able to commit to being in Torreon at the beginning of July as classes start just a few short weeks after that.
Benefits/Salary: We offer a competitive salary as well as paying for the teachers FM3 working visa. The Department of International Affairs will assist new teachers with all paperwork as well as assisstance in locating suitable housing.
There are five weeks of paid vacation every year.
