Brexley Institute Samut Prakan

The Brexeley Institute farms out teachers to government schools in the Saumt Prakan area. They charge schools over 50,000 baht per month for mainly under-qualified teachers.
The average take home for the teachers is about 27,000 baht. The company offers four month contracts and only two of those a year, yes that?s right 8 months of contracted work for a year. This is pro rata work so any exams or student activities leaves teachers out of pocket.

Bizarre managerial decisions are blamed on a never seen Sino Thai boss. I left in April when they tried to make me teach 112 hours a month for 28,000 baht. Since my departure things have gone from bad to worse, two of the teacher have actually died ( I?m not kidding) and all but the chronic alcoholic losers who coundn?t get a job anywhere else have left. Brexely is unable to provide teachers to many of the schools it has contracts with. I think this shoddy branch is going down. I for one will shed no tears, this is a classic case of ?Som Num Na.? Grotty teaching agencies beware; this is what happens when you mistreat your teachers!

I'd have to agree with whoever put up this post, infact if you're about please contact me!!
Was shocked (or not so shocked really) to see your post re Brexley Institute. I too fell victim to their rip-off tactics, whilst i was working there one teacher got deported (fair enough he only had about 3 teeth in total and smelt like dung). These guys (Family owned i believe) are only out to make a buck and couldn't give a toss about the well-being of any of their students.
They told me all i had to do was press play on a tape and talk to students, everything was prepared, class plans, teaching material, yeh right!
I think they have changed their name since because i saw an ad for "something international langauge something" and the contact was that fillipino lady **[Name removed - no names please!]** who I know works (or used to work) there.
They withhold pay without prior notice and find whatever reason they can to deduct pay. For anyone considering working there make sure you sus things out before hand.
