Another post rescued from the old board
I worked at this school for a while: regrettably.
The school is well resourced and the teachers were pleasant and hardworking.
The management is however another matter. All I can say to anyone who is considering working there is that they should make sure they keep their mouths shut about anything they do not like. Those who do not may end up like my ex-colleague who, having given the eight weeks' notice required by management, was called into the office and told that she was no longer required. Furthermore she was not paid for this period of notice, which management decided they did not want her to work.
There are three things I would like to point out.
1. No reason was given for the dismissal.
2. She had recently passed her probationary period.
3. Thai labour law requires four weeks' notice not eight.
I could go on but I believe that a staff turnover rate like this school has speaks for itself.
