   Rubbish?!?

aft
I know your guys don't do the same, but in the US we place the winner and winning score first followed by the loser and the losing score. It was sleepy time for me when I read your prediction. Hit me again!

hero,
Diversity and a hetrogenous world produce different culutres, approaches etc, do they not? I long since have recognized how Brits and some others list teams and scores in sports; numbers with commas in tallying votes etc whereas in the the latter in the US we use the decimal point/dot instead of the comma as is commonly used in Europe and in other places. I merely was pointing out that it had been "sleepy time" for me when I read the scores.

Do pardon me, but I know some of the differences among cultures in listing sports scores, dates, numbers tallies etc. No offense taken. I just wanted to point out a matter of clarification as to my cognition of these matters, at least to some extent. For example, the first pasenger car on a railroad train in Korea (and other places) has the highest number among the passenger cars on the train, not the number "1." In other words, if it's a five-car passenger train, then the first passenger car after the engine is car #5; the last car is passenger car #1.
Thanks for your interest in making a post about the matter. I always welcome such cross-cultural discourse.

Anyway there's only two of us playing and with Man City already 3 up it looks doubtful either of us will score anything on that game!
