hero,
Diversity and a hetrogenous world produce different culutres, approaches etc, do they not? I long since have recognized how Brits and some others list teams and scores in sports; numbers with commas in tallying votes etc whereas in the the latter in the US we use the decimal point/dot instead of the comma as is commonly used in Europe and in other places. I merely was pointing out that it had been "sleepy time" for me when I read the scores.
Do pardon me, but I know some of the differences among cultures in listing sports scores, dates, numbers tallies etc. No offense taken. I just wanted to point out a matter of clarification as to my cognition of these matters, at least to some extent. For example, the first pasenger car on a railroad train in Korea (and other places) has the highest number among the passenger cars on the train, not the number "1." In other words, if it's a five-car passenger train, then the first passenger car after the engine is car #5; the last car is passenger car #1.
Thanks for your interest in making a post about the matter. I always welcome such cross-cultural discourse.
