Weekend football predictions – anyone interested?
« on: November 13, 2006, 04:59:22 pm »
Anyone up for it? There must some footy anoraks out there!

Predict the scores and win great prizes! Well maybe not but if you win you’ll feel like a right smart arse for a week.

All we’d have to do is predict the score of the EPL games at the weekend, piece of piss really, and it’ll make watching the drab premier games via UBC that bit more exciting! The one with the most correct scores wins........

Come on, it’s better than pitting your wits against that tit Lawro on the BBC website, and besides my team ain’t never gonna win the Premiership this season so I need something to hold my interest.

If there's any interest I'll kick off this week.

I predict a low scoring, boring match (even though, I don't know who's playing).  I also predict there will be thousands of drunken British at the match making sounds as if they are doing a combination of speaking in tongue and having sex with a large animal.

Are we talking about football or soccer?

How about those Indianapolis Colts? 9-0 after that nice 17-16 win over Buffalo.

Go Pats!!! (Soccer it is.) Yes, it's time to get around to American Football!.

As a NE Pats fan I'm always happy to see Buffalo and/or Miami go down. Oh, I forget---how many consecutive championships by the Pats! Wuz it 3?!?

OhmyGod, izz somebody gonna try to tell me the Colts have a better QB than the Pats?!? He'd by the fact of any such statement be declaring his insanity!!!

Which weighs more in Indiana, your pickup truck or your wife?

OK - soccer it is!  I propose that any interested member post up their predictions for the weekends matches by Saturday 10a.m. GMT.  Points will be awarded - 3 for a correct scoreline, 1 for a correct result.  The weekly winner will get 15 seconds of fame on this thread.  The poster with the most weekly wins at the end of the season is the champ and gets full bragging privileges.

Anyone interested (or got a better idea?)
