Great Introduction Game

This works better in smaller classes of between 12 to 30 students, but it is usually a real fun type of game so here goes. This really only works in Thailand for cultural reasons.

1)Give each student a blank sheet of paper and act as if you are doing a survey.

2) Write any 4 or 5 questions on the board that you think most of the students can answer like what is your name? Who is your favorite singer, what is your favorite sport, etc, but have the last two questions be, what is your mother's name and what is your father's name.

3) Collect all of the papers from the students as they finish and encourage them write the names of their parents since it is merely a survey.

4) After you have collected all of the papers, randomly pull out one sheet and start reading the answers to the class and let the fun begin. Let the students guess who the person is , for the most fun make sure you say the mother's and father's name for each student. Repeat until you have done all of the students.

As a variation, have the student that you call up read the answers for the next student paper selected.

Not the best game, but it is a fun way to spend a period.
