Internet TV
« on: July 09, 2006, 08:03:03 PM »
I use TVUPlayer quite regularly, the client s/w downloads fairly quickly (just search Google) & is straighforward to install. I particularly like the HBO & Hollywood movie channels, there are also Star TV & cartoon Network channels, plus a couple of ESPN channels. There must be about two dozen in all.  :)

Are there any otter recommendations you'd like to make in the Internet TV category? It should be FREE & relatively easy to install/operate.

I have never heard of it before so I did a google search and lo and behold, we have a winner. It looks like a decent program, much better than the previous way of just downloading episodes I would like to view.

Yep, concur the programs good. {-}
Would recommend d/l from the company's own website http://www.tvunetworks.com/downloads/index.htm as a lot fatser than the other d/l sites.

To get live football there are a number of different packages you can get but you will find most of the football and other movie and satellite channels are on TVAnts . The software is only small (2.38Mb) and is easy to install and free! To get TVAnts click here. I also recommend SopCast , PPStream  and TVUPlayer with these you should be fully covered to watch all football from around the world as well as other satellite channels such as HBO, Star Movies, AXN, Discovery, CNN and many more.

Sorry don't really take notice of things like that, have unlimited connection or near as damm it.

The site below, although primariliy for football has an excellent guide to the different Internet TV player software with links and installation and operating guides http://www.football4less.com/streams/ Have more recently started using sopcast streaming software; which seems to be very good software with many channels and good quality streaming.
