For solving square roots with Newton's, algorithm, factoring, or Babylonian method:

Pretend the square root symbol is a little house, and the number is Michael Jackson, and it's the students' job to rescue Michael Jackson from the little house...when they solve the problem, they can give a "HE!" shout with maybe some dance-move action...it's a big hit around the classroom of mind...
