Hi,

I read the post “KEI TEFL - Institute of Online Education” by Hero. We are a large TESL/TEFL course provider and have been offering quality online teacher training since 1998. We would be interested in learning more about your assessment process.  Do you provide this kind of service for any courses? What are your assessment criteria? Who does the reviewing? How does one apply?

We do not offer a service in assessing TEFL courses. That is not an area we want to get involved in. What we can do is offer to take look at your course and let you know what we think about it. The more information you provide, the more in depth of a look we can take. The only thing that qualifies any of us to offer opinions about a particular course is our teaching experience.

Our look at the course results in a statement like Hero's, just a simple opinion of a neutral friend about what they have seen, no more, no less. It's not an endorsement though you are free to quote us on what is said about the course. To keep things transparent, I ask a random mod if they would like to do the assessment. No fees are collected or solicited. We only offer our opinion on the course in order to benefit teachers looking for training opportunities.

How about getting some of your graduates to start a thread reviewing the course.  I was happy to take a look at the KEI Tefl site, but without taking the course myself it was hard to really evaluate it.

As Nemesis says, we can have a look, I'd be happy to say what I see ..... might have more value if it were to come from someone who had actually paid for and taken the course.
