7baht is 7baht but some own line buddies have researched the name and produced the thai 7baht stamp surprise surprise
Had an interview today with a government school.
Last interview I had like this was for a position in a nuclear plant.
4 people in a semi creasent position and 2 firing questions at me.
When it was my turn to ask some question I was already amused so I asked
1) How many teachers have you fired in the last 3 years? answer " we cant tell you "
2) Can I view your school policies? answer " not till we decide to hire you "
3) May I view the school contract? answer " Its against thai law to show you the contract till we decide to hire you"
4) Do you lock the employees in during working hours? answer " Yes "
5) Will you abide by the thai labor code? answer " None"
I have to admit in my 7 years in thailand I have never seen this type of interview in any government school and as far as that goes pvt institutions also.
Maybe I have been lucky
Could this be the new standard? Is this future process of employment
inside the thai school system?
About time they started a screening process.
I did get the feeling ,by some questions, that I was being asked to spy on other teachers and report my observations to the school admins, which I flatly refused to do so.
All this isnt negative to me but HELL !!!! Your only offering me $30,000 baht a month..not a corp CEO position.
