« on: February 18, 2006, 06:34:30 pm »
I once read an article interviewing a sucessfull farang property developer in Thailand. he was asked what are his pet hates. He said 'people who complain about Thailand but still live there'. We all love Thailand what are the good points.

Here are my top ten (in no particular order): -

1. Waking up to sunshine and not rain in the mornings. 2. A great standard of living. 3. Great students. 4. Thai people. 5.Taking a dip in the pool when you finish work. 6. A light workload. 7. Beautiful Thai Ladies 8. Great hoilidays. 9. The amount of football on TV 10. Sang Som.
Let's hear yours

I haven't been in Thailland since November and not permanently since last march so here's my perspective
Reading about stories of inactive posts
Reading about stories about drivers fleeing the scene and never to be seen again
The countless cabinet reshuffles
Footy on TV but the mid week games made my Wednesday's and Thursday's hell
Fighting to get off the sky train at your station
Great shopping - MBK here I come
Street food vendors -
On the back of a motorcycle taxi suffering form a hangover
The cinemas
The students were in most cases great
